چکیده

Purpose: To evaluate the effect of incorporation 0.1%, 0.3%, and 0.5% concentrations titanium oxide, aluminum silica nanoparticles in heat-cured acrylic resin denture base on peel bond strength to a silicone liner. Methods: A total number 100 samples were prepared classified into control group three groups according type nanoparticle. Each was subgroups concentration nanoparticle (n=10). Silicone based-soft liner added over specimens, measured using peeling test at an angle 90°. Statistical analysis done Two-way ANOVA for interactions between different materials their concentrations. Results: showed that did not affect strength. Conclusion: The this study effective increasing studied

Peel bond strength of resilient liner modified by the addition of antimicrobial agents to denture base acrylic resin

UNLABELLED In order to prolong the clinical longevity of resilient denture relining materials and reduce plaque accumulation, incorporation of antimicrobial agents into these materials has been proposed. However, this addition may affect their properties. OBJECTIVE This study evaluated the effect of the addition of antimicrobial agents into one soft liner (Soft Confort, Dencril) on its peel b...

Effect of Food Simulating Agents on the Hardness and Bond Strength of a Silicone Soft Liner to a Denture Base Acrylic Resin.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM Bonding failure between acrylic resin and soft liner material and also gradual loss of soft liner resiliency over time are two impending challenges frequently recognized with a denture base embraced with a resilient liner. Since patients drink various beverages, it is crucial to assess the influences of these beverages on physical characteristics of soft liners. PURPO...

Tensile and shear bond strength of hard and soft denture relining materials to the conventional heat cured acrylic denture base resin: An In-vitro study.

BACKGROUND The condition of the denture bearing tissues may be adversely affected by high stress concentration during function. Chairside Denture (Hard and Soft) reliners are used to distribute forces applied to soft tissues during function. Tensile and shear bond strength has been shown to be dependent on their chemical composition. A weak bond could harbor bacteria, promote staining and delam...
